In the afternoon, return to Seoul for a moving session with North Korean defectors, listening to their stories of life in the North and their journey to South Korea. This provides deep insight into Korea’s division and hope for reunification.

Day 4. Seoul’s Heritage & Culture: Palaces, Markets, and Museums

Explore Seoul’s rich history and culture using public transportation. Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, the main royal palace from the Joseon Dynasty, and watch the changing of the guard. Walk through Insadong, known for traditional tea houses, antique shops, and cultural performances. Spend the afternoon at a renowned museum, such as the National Museum of Korea, to appreciate Korea’s heritage and art collection.
